Comment	Having lived in a fair number of those countries I can tell you that Scotland is not worse. USA is horrific in terms of both street and institutional racism, German is pretty good (but they have very bold skinheads and neos you’ll meet from time to time), and NL is pretty bad for on street racism. Italy is a mixed bag, basically a coin toss that anyone over 60 will say something. France is pretty good. Belgium probably the best, but it certainly felt last time I was there that pockets are becoming ardently anti-Muslim. So yeah, Scotland has it’s racists; but having lived in many of the countries you listed, have POC family, have had POC partners, I can tell you it’s not as rosey as you must believe.
