| Comment | I’m in Renfrewshire and we’ve had this for years. It’s a kinda odd pattern to stick to, but we have 4 bins. Black - landfill, green - plastic and glass, blue - paper, brown - garden (now also doing food caddy waste). Something gets collected every week, but it’s 2-4 weeks depending on which bin it is. It’s no that bad, your rubbish is split over 4 bins. Sometimes I don’t fill the bin enough to warrant putting it out, but I live alone. Like my brown bin is only food waste over winter. And my landfill bin doesn’t get much in it as I try to recycle as much as I can. It sounds worse than it actually is once you get settled into it. |
