Can't remember which of the Dumbartonshire councils it was but they said a while back they were not going to reprint official stuff in Gaelic any more and stop putting up signs with both languages. Cue the tiny minority complaining everywhere they could. Demographics suggested that people with even a basic knowledge of gaelic, never mind fluent, was less than 0.2% of the local population. *Caitrìonas a ’dol gu Caitrìona* I guess, no matter what languages they speak.

Just let it die already and if people really want to study it, they can go to college or university like they do for other unused languages.
