They are both extremely good universities. Glasgow is definitely more prestigious in general but is that worth an extra £10k? Not in my opinion.
I'm doing a engineering Master's degree at Strathclyde now. Most people I know who left after getting their BEng walked into good jobs and basically everyone I know on the MEng already has a job lined up for when we finish. So job prospects are good at Strathclyde for engineering at least. Can't say specifically about CS but I imagine it would be much the same. |
