Comment | u/Weeuniqueeo has the right answer. If you're getting a lot of condensation then you probably need to open the windows a bit more than you do.
The seals being draughty is a separate fault and won't be causing the condensation. Having your windows kept shut all winter with the heating cranked up full blast is the problem. As he points out, anytime you cook, dry clothes, run a tumble dryer, take a shower, etc the windows need to be open.
A daily airing is also useful. Best to do it in the mornings for a couple of hours, especially in the bedroom. This will let moist air escape and prevent patches of damp on the walls forming. |
