| Comment | Section one of the repairing standard means your property must be wind or water tight. If not and your landlord doesn't fix you can report it to the housing tribunal who can issue court orders etc to the landlord.
It is a long process but hopefully just putting a formal request in writing to your landlord, letting them know it goes against this standard and if not repaired you will report it to the tribunal, will make them just do the repair. You have to provide proof to the tribunal that you tried to get the repair done before reporting it anyway so it's important to document it. |
