| Comment | Chromium (VI) remediation is expensive and difficult. Even investigating it is a nightmare, drilling crews have to wear full hazmat suits etc. Remediation typically involves burying it at depth or reducing it to Cr(III), which can still oxidise back to Cr(VI) if the ground conditions aren't closed.
