I’ve sat on more tech job boards than I care to remember.

Myself and the other board members briefly skim the education section, it’s job experience and your cover letter that catches our eyes. In my previous place of employment the applications were anonymised so you weren’t able to see an applicants school/college/uni to avoid bias.

Basically, don’t worry about getting a job based on the uni. Worry about getting good experience and being proactive so that you can sell yourself to an employer.
