Comment | I've faced almost the same situation twice in the last year with my factors. Entire building was billed for a rodent problem that was very particularly isolated to one flat. I told them it wasn't a communal issue and they sorted it out. Another was an intercom fault - we were all billed for the inspection to the front panel but the individual flat was charged for the work to their handset.
If it isn't communal equipment then tell the factors to pursue the flat owner for costs. Daftys who don't know how to maintain their own property tend to contact the factors when they don't know what to do instead of resolving their problems themselves. Factors are way more used to billing en masse for communal problems so that will be their default action, just tell them you're not paying and why and that should be the end of it. |
