If you're really worried then sure, phone the social work. I'd think the school would have noticed that they were being left in alone, a 7 year old would need some help with their online work for a start, but maybe not. Just remember things are seeming a lot worse just now because everyone is stuck in, especially if you are in all the time you'll notice the kids more.
