| Comment | If you can get into student halls for the first year I'd really recommend you do, even if you have to go private ones. Means you're there with other people all in the same boat and all looking to make new connections.
Also pick an interest and join a society when that sort of things allowed again. Most do a regular night out each week so will get you out socialising once covids over.
I know it seems a big step moving away at 17/18 but honestly in my experience you'll be shocked how quickly you adapt to a new life there and by how little things will have changed each time you go home. |
