I fitted it in my (tenement) flat and while it improves things, it's nothing like actual soundproofing. It improves privacy but it won't fix problem neighours
Before: could hear every detail of every conversation downstairs, almost like being in the same room
Now: can't hear normal conversations, can still hear if they're shouting at the cat
