Yeah I know that it'd likely be cheaper to just blast the heating instead but there are other factors at play:
* sustainability
* Protecting against moisture / water ingress (the old frames are pretty much falling to pieces)
* Sale value (I also know that the flat wouldn't gain in value as much as it costs to install but it'd be a bit easier to sell)
