| Comment | I dislike needles too. Just make sure to tell them well in advance of the issue. I find looking away and trying to look at a picture or talking about anything unrelated to what is happening helps.
Finger pricks are _the worst_ though, they can acutally hurt (all them nerve endings). Proper injections rarely do and you'll be getting them from someone who has done N thousand; so they could probably do it with their eyes closed.
Top-tip: you close your eyes, not them. |
