| Comment | So I am not recently hired, but have been in the industry a while and would highly recommend as soon as you can looking around for an open source projects / communities based around the area that you are particularly interested in working in and try to start working on / contributing to and/or making public projects.
Its hard to give too broad advice about interviews, they run very differently, some people go all in on whiteboard tests, some just like to chat, but the main thing that always helps is if you have something interesting to talk about / present your skills with and while I learned a lot at university, I didnt have much of that at the end of it. |
