| Comment | Why the fuck are delivery companies so shite?
Needed to return an item and got an email from DPD saying they'll come for the item between 9 - 5 on Monday. In the morning, got a message saying they'll arrive between 1:15 and 2:15. Made sure I was up and ready and that I could hear the doorbell.
2:15 comes and goes and I'm still waiting for the bell to ring. I notice a missed call on my phone. Phone it back, it's the delivery driver who says they tried my doorbell but there was no response. The doorbell never rang. They said they'd come back in a few minutes to pick it up.
They come back and then ask me if the supplier has provided me with a label, to which I respond no. As a result, the driver can't give me a label for the package as they've already put into the system that they failed to pick up the package. Said they'd come around again today around the same time to pick it up.
Did they fuck.
That's two days stuck in the house waiting for nothing. Why does it seem to be so difficult moving something from one area to another?
And don't even get me started on Hermes... |
