Not saying that it isn't a friendly city, but I am so tired of these awards where the methodology is: "we will ask our totally non-representative sample of people that already follow us on social media"...

I have never heard of Rough Guides, but seeing as they are headquartered in London, its not exactly surprising that Glasgow will do better than cities that are abroad (some even on different continents) since people will be more likely to have visited, and more likely have heard it described as the friendliest and stabbiest...

Its exactly like when Dennistoun was chosen as one of the coolest neighbourhood in the world (which I suppose is entirely subjective)...but like common? You're telling me Dennistoun is cooler than parts of Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris, London or Prague (just to throw some places I have spent time and subjectively think of as "cooler")?
