| Comment | I've seen lots of people holding hands in the West End. I live in Hyndland and it's calm, quiet and safe. Train station super close by too. It's not too far from everything, lots of families and older people. A well looked after area. Around the Botanics is more in the thick of things with restaurants etc but there are lots of beautiful, tree lined, quiet streets too. The whole area has a great vibe. I moved here last year so I'm new here and I've been out late walking around and it's as calm as anything (maybe the odd night in the summer with happy drunk people singing songs but they usually get told to be quiet : ) I like being close to the centre, only a couple of stops away but haven't made use of this really since lockdown and not being able to go out and about much. Hoping that'll change as I miss being around people, especially friendly Glaswegians : ) Good luck finding somewhere! Hope it all works out for you. |
