| Comment | I have also done some accredited Outdoor Skills training on land and on water. It was pretty obvious that this one was intended for the Survivalist Cosplay market. Anybody who thinks they can live of the land long term as a hunter gatherer is delusional. On the other hand if somebody is engaged in outdoor activities such as hillwalking especially in Winter, some accredited training can make a real difference. Particularly navigation skills and avalanche avoidance.

I should also say that I met the same guy with another group who started a peat fire that is no doubt still burning underground by building their camp kitchen in a commercial spruce woodland. |
