If you're thinking of buying a converted church in Glasgow you need to be asking what they did with the graveyard. There's three standard answers (Didn't have one, built over it, exhumed and reburied) you need to make sure it's not the last one, puts the spirits to rest and you'll have to get your own ghosts.

Provided they just paved over it, you now need to be asking what time period was the church most active in, otherwise you might treat the ghosts like they're Victorian era but they're actually Tudor and you'll piss them right off, not advised.

Third and most important is check if there's any wee boxes with poison down on the ground, these are pretty immensely important as well as this might indicate a problem with mice or rats, ghosts are quite picky and don't like to share the under the floor inside the wall space. So can't have mice at all.

If you're at your wits end, just wait til lockdown is over, attend the Blue Lagoon across from the taxi rank at Central on a late weekend evening, and announce afters at yours and free patsys, and you'll gather a horde of ghost faced ghouls in no time who will do for an ad hoc haunting
