| Comment | prep is a fashion/lifestyle. It doesn't actually mean you went to a prep school, it just means you act like you did. And the majority of Glasgow uni people I met act like preps,in both style and substance.
And calling them not the enemy is completely disregarding how they act towards working class Glasweigans, those who couldn't get to college and uni or decided not to. The disrespect and disregard they show is absolutely diabolical, but they "don't know any better" and so are given a pass.
I think it's perfectly rational to call them wankers, especially given what I previously mentioned. But what I was arguing originally is you shouldn't equate what some white middle to upper class idiots experience because they think they're better than people to what bame people face on a daily basis. To think there is any similarity is deluded and honestly kinda ignorant. |
