| Comment | Not to discourage you, but you’ll need to be careful and courteous. Definitely have the hi-vis, lights, helmets, safety equipment. From what I’ve seen, a lot of drivers despise cyclists in Glasgow, bus drivers most of all and will occasionally make dangerous passes out of impatience, putting everyone in danger.
That being said, there are some decent cycling lanes in some parts of the city, which are probably the best bet. You can look up cycling routes and maps online for a better idea and maybe plan where you’ll live based on that. |
