| Comment | For route planning you can look up the "South City Way" (I think it's called) - the cycle route from Pollokshields to city centre and see if it will be of any use to you. This is a nice, broad segregated route that helps avoid the bulk of the madness at rush hour. In general commuting from the major South side residential areas to the centre is pretty popular.. it is quick, and the public transport links are crap (subway doesn't cover the "upcoming" neighbourhoods over there at all, First Bus just sucks etc.). |
