| Comment | Cycling in Glasgow is not bad. I find drivers perhaps not the most polite ones, but for the most parts aware of other road users.
The infrastructure improved vastly during the pandemic with the new makeshift cycle lanes being made permanent (although still of the temporary quality, to be frank).
The major issue I get with cycling is the weather. I used to live in the country with proper snowy winters and had never problems to cycle even in deep snow, or when it's -20 outside. But the freezing sleet smashing in your face at 60mph had beaten me and I now only commute by cycle when the weather is nice... |
