| Comment | Considering 7 years of inflation these figures would actually count as an overall council tax reduction, if everyone's wages were rising in line with inflation as they should.
Seeing how little Council Tax contributed to the overall budget, it makes me wonder... would it not be possible to eliminate Council Tax? There'd have to be some rebalancing of the budget, no doubt, but before seeing these numbers I would have never even considered it, but this might be possible. |
