That's basically the epicentre of Possilpark's social problems, being right next to the only pubs that serve the area. The street there is always full of junkies - you will be accosted every time you go in and out, you will have people constantly trying to get into your close and flat, and it definitely won't be safe at night.
I know you want people to reassure you it's ok, but the centre of Possilpark around Saracen St is literally one of the worst spots in the whole of Glasgow, and we're not overstating it to be dramatic - it's really bad.
If you really can't afford better, you'd be so much better off finding somewhere further out - Knightswood, Scotstoun, Yoker, just to pick some random places in the north of the city where you can find cheap flats - and getting the bus in to work. |
