I was part time at Stereo before lockdown 1 shift a week on top of my Mon - Friday 9-5.

At the very beginning the owner and management were very up front with us. They were paying us our usual contracted/average hours and then when furlough was announced they got it sorted quickly for everyone.

I was made redundant from my full time job in December so took on another Hospitality job.

Worked there 5 weeks and was reassured time and time again by the owner that my position was safe.

Was let go 11 hours before the start of my next shift in breach of the contract I signed, the owner has since agreed to pay me a weeks notice pay so I'm not going to name them but it was pretty shady.

Tldr; Stereo and associated bars (Mono, Flying Duck etc) are good guys, put the needs of staff first over profit and I fully intend to go back part time as soon as I can.

Even if you aren't into vegan food don't let that put you off.
