| Comment | I haven’t stayed in the student accommodation but wanted to comment that the area is fine.
It’s across the road from the private high school and racecourse, has plenty of shops nearby, Bothwell Rd Park and Hamilton West station is a small walk. You could probably walk to Strathclyde County Park in 25-30 mins. Great for walks and jogging.
The land nearby that was used for UWS before they moved is being turned in to a new private housing estate. I’m not sure when, but there’s approved planning permission on the South Lanarkshire Council website. |
