I feel you. We arrived in Scotland a month ago and realised that prices had shot up so much since we had first planned the sale (which was delayed because of Covid) that we pretty much immediately switched to Plan B and focused on fixed price only.
A friend of mine’s sister had an offer accepted somewhere south of Battlefield (not sure of the exact location) after offering 23% over HR. My friend was shocked but her sister said that her solicitor had told her she wouldn’t get it otherwise.
Absolutely insane prices right now. |
