Most of the Tenement kitchens are far bigger than new builds. If you have a small kitchen in a tenement it’s because someone has changed the layout to make the larger kitchen a bedroom.

Long bathrooms are a cool feature also - much preferable to everyone having the same soulless bathing cube.

Agree re the materials point- although they often stand out pretty badly. There’s a few red brick ‘tenement style’ flats in Partick and North Kelvinside and they look strange in comparison. Imagine they’re nicer places to live than some other new builds though
