A lot of old tenements have two old cupboards knocked through to make a new kitchen, and the kitchen becomes another bedroom as it becomes ,ore profitable. So you end up with those awful, fully enclosed kitchens with no windows or natural light. Plus, no lovely deep cupboards any more. It’s a real shame.
