A lot of them are taking the fucking piss, to be fair. Went past a place last week that had some beef and veg pasty thing in the window for seven quid. I think they seem to want to pay four staff on a tenner an hour to serve coffee and cake through a hatch in the door and price their wares accordingly.

Agreed part of the problem is landlords hiking the rent up when they see an opportunity, but should their greed be subsided by rates relief or should there be rent caps?
