It's not just the buildings though. It's the way we build them and plan our cities. Go to any town or city in Scotland: almost all the newbuilds are in discrete estates with no services, no facilities, no nothing. It's so depressing that our collective vision for neighbourhoods is just a big pile of 3 bed 'villas'.
