Ok, no offence....dear tourists!
**If you go to the shithole part of town, you’re gonna encounter some trouble. I’m sorry. That applies to literally every city on earth.**
People **are** nice in Glasgow. Just don’t be silly and naive. People who complain about “bams” or “wee neds” - maybe go somewhere nice? Art gallery? Go see the ballet? Go for dinner? Maybe don’t hang around outside central station at night? Maybe don’t go to the schemes if you’re not looking for that?
No offence. Again. If you don’t want to talk to “junkies”............don’t go where the junkies are? Ygm? Some of you Glasgow-haters act so stuck up, but refuse to comply with basic logic.
I just hate when people call our city unsafe or “rough”. If it’s a rough area, sure? Of course?.... Paris doesn’t get called “rough” and Paris has “wee bams” (google it, that’s a thing, they call it ‘the hood’, but like, in french obviously). People don’t go to the hood in Paris and say “wow, Paris is soooo neddy and unfriendly! I got robbed!”
Not fair for Glasgow to get this treatment. |
