| Comment | The only reason our street is relatively clean is because locals pitch in and help pick up litter occasionally. a lot of the litter either derives from (a) kids (b) delivery drivers or other tradesmen etc who just fling their shite out the window or (c) overfilled bins which spill out/get blown out by the wind, or that just gets dropped when the binmen come and they can't be arsed picking it back up.
Also the council have also been reducing the number of bins in a lot of the wee local parks of late I count at least 4 that have disappeared near me.
Having said that, our green bins seem to have been emptied pretty regularly of late. |
