I’d really doubt the bin men would bother doing this. Far more likely to be one of your neighbours.
Lidl or Aldi (can’t remember which) had racks that let you hang a bike on a wall, or you could buy a pulley to hang it off the ceiling, in case you’d rather keep it in the house.
