| Comment | This is mostly a rant. I am staying in the city centre and this is honestly so sad, I feel so sorry for the people working in NHS, for the police, for people who will have to clean everything up next week.
There were families who brought their little kids to this (?!!?). Young lads driving in, parking and heading to the square with bottles of booze, young teenagers being absolutely wasted and falling over. People are drink driving and speeding Iike crazy. Is it what people's values and priorities are?
Just why? Drink some wine at home and celebrate. Some of us haven't seen our parents for over a year, friends get their cancer treatment delayed.
The comments here make me a lot more hopeful that these people are the minority, at least on Reddit. |
