| Comment | Like what? Basically every large scale protest since the beginning of covid has been allowed to go ahead, including BLM. Given the Govan riots etc there is a real risk of sustained public disorder if the event was over policed. Perhaps they will identify organisers to subsequently be arrested and prosecuted, though I imagine an event like this has probably happened organically without any ringleaders. This is the reality of policing by consent and event like this couldn't be dispersed without watercannon and Cs canisters which are not used in Scotland. |
