| Comment | Football's the worst thing about Glasgow.
Growing up it was all the other guys in school would talk about and you were a pure outcast if you weren't interested. Even playing football in PE you were just expected to know all the rules and be at least halfway decent at it, the fucking dog's abuse I got for no being mad for it was shocking.
I had family members trying to get me learning the songs and everything when I was a wee boy and the pure hatred I've heard from some of them is sickening. For years making pals the first question you'd get asked is "what team do you support?" and having to just say Partick Thistle because saying you don't watch the fitba just isn't a concept.
All that aside the city doesn't even feel safe when Rangers or Celtic are playing and they've proven time and time again they cannae be trusted to act like adults. This isnae new either, it's just the latest embarrassment and the blatant disregard for the pandemic rubs salt right into the wound. I've no seen my family - they're high risk - or friends or coworkers for months; my mental health is shite; so this just feels like a big fuck you to everyone else who's been going through the same and worse.
There needs to be serious action against this now. What makes football fans so fucking special?
