Comment | I share your thoughts. TBH I initially posted because every comment was suggesting go to CAB or Shelter" without any mention of asking the landlord to fix the problem. In real life this problem would go as follows. Move in, light doesn't work, call landlord, landlord fixes it pretty quickly as he wants a tenant and therefore rent. It is of no benefit for a landlord to not repair it especially as the tenant can just quit with 28 days notice. |
