| Comment | If there's even a small realistic chance you'll eventually need a class 1, I'd go for that instead. Back when I had hopes/dreams that's what I did despite it being unnecessary for the PPL. (Mainly so that if there was something physiologically nasty lurking that would rule out my aspirations, I'd know about it before spending even sillier amounts of money.)
Plus, if it's still the same location, you get to sample the [delights of Crawley](https://en.wikivoyage.org/wiki/Crawley) without making a separate trip. |
