| Comment | Read the home report, but don’t take it as gospel. They miss so much stuff it’s unreal - I remember opening a walk in cupboard at a newish flat and there was a hole in the wall surrounded by black mould. I peered in and there was a leaking pipe inside.
There was also staining in the ceiling in places in other rooms which indicated a leaking roof (top floor). All this missed by the report.
I actually questioned at times whether the surveyors even turn up at times when they wrote the home report! |
