It just seems so accessible and basic somehow it is hard to see as potent. If you have access to the Kelvin you probably have access to Loch Ardinning https://scottishwildlifetrust.org.uk/reserve/loch-ardinning/ and Campsie Glen https://www.walkhighlands.co.uk/glasgow/campsie-glen.shtml which are both nice walks.
