This just sounds so patronising to me. As though *we*, the scum, need to help *them* do their jobs and they’re SURE we’ll do it cos we’re kind-hearted people. Where was this campaign when *we* have been asking for help all this time, to the people who literally get paid to do this? Now they expect people (whose job it’s not) to volunteer to help as soon as they ask?
Yes everyone plays a part in the litter problems in glasgow, but this is just so ass backwards once again. And as another commenter pointed out, £800,000 for 16 neighbourhood coordinators?!?!? At £50,000 a piece, meanwhile healthcare workers are getting paid a fraction of that. |
