| Comment | There is nothing wrong with buying a dog from a reputable KC registered breeder, ethical breeders do exist and often have very long waiting lists.
It’s people with your attitudes that actually perpetuate the issues with rescues being bounced about homes hence the tighten of adoption criteria ‘everyone no matter what should get a rescue dog’ without actually realising that rescue dogs aren’t the easiest, most have little to no training, severely lacking socialisation or have health concerns as those are the most common factors for dogs being given up. Idiots who by designer dogs and expect them to be cute perfectly behaved dogs and/or don’t have the time to train and exercise them.
Do no preach to me after years of working in vet care and seeing the devastating consequences of do-gooders, fosters and adoptions going wrong because people don’t understand the commitment and education you need to rehabilitate a stray, abused or abandoned dog. |
