| Comment | I think the OP was looking for advice other than ‘join a rival gang’ that several people have said, and a load of jokey comments. I’ve had very similar issues, and these are the things that alleviated them for me. I think you’re wrong about the neighbourhood watch - it helps create a sense of community - everyone looking out for each other. These kids parents may well be OP’s neighbours and may also be sick of the current situation but feel powerless or unsupported. If the kids know they are constantly under surveillance and the police keep getting phoned, they might decide to pack it in, or at the very least move away from a heavily residential area. I think it’s worth a try. |
