| Comment | I'd suggest it's because taxis and, especially, buses can be intimidating for an inexperienced cyclist and they feel safer on the pavement. It's certainly safer for all concerned for an inexperienced cyclist to be cycling courteously on the pavement.
Why do you feel like you are above cyclists when it comes to who has priority on a shared path? Sure you'd be annoyed if they didn't bother getting out of your way the way you suggest you do to them. |
