That's a fair point. I guess the thing is that I feel that seeing how quickly the Glasgow tenement market goes, conditioning your offers on *anything* means that I guarantee to end up with no roof as it'd be making my offer vastly less likely to get accepted unless I crank up my bid (which I can't afford).

So I guess the question then becomes - is it possible / accepted to announce the desire to conduct such inspection *after* having an offer accepted?

Yes there is but it's padlocked and I don't think the factors are very likely to release the keys to some rando.
