I remember going into cottonrake once and feeling spoiled for choice and I saw a sign saying "yesterday's bread - half price" and I genuinely don't know why I got it into my head it was a fancy name for a rustic loaf made in an old fashioned way.

Turns out it is just the bread they baked yesterday.

It's up there with some of my dumbest moments.
