Yeah we're finding it a bit of an annoyance now. First we had to get the deposit together, then we had to find out the fee for the first home fund is about £550, then you need the mortgage advisor to take you through your options as we're clueless, then you need the legal fees to actually submit the offer.

It's far to expensive, then add on that you need MORE than what your deposit is to begin with just to be noticed. It's mental!
